The theme of the France Pavilion is to resemble a neighborhood in Paris. It features a pool with fountains along with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The streets are lined with shops, restaurants, and eateries.
Attractions
The key attraction at the France Pavilion is Impressions de France. The film has been playing since opening day of Epcot and offers a visual tour of the French countryside set to a musical score by Buddy Baker. Guests get to see sights such as Notre Dame de Paris, the Eiffel Tower, and Normandy.
At the 2017 D23 Convention, it was announced that Ratatouille: The Adventure would be making its way to the France Pavilion. The attraction is believed to be a replica of the one in Disneyland Paris. It will be a trackless 3D dark ride that is based on the 2007 Disney-Pixar animated feature.
Characters
Not one but two Disney Princesses meet-and-greet in the France Pavilion.
Sleeping Beauty namesake Aurora meets to the right of the pavilion near the International Gateway.
Belle from
Beauty and the Beast meets on the left side of the pavilion near the World Showcase Lagoon. Occasionally, the Beast will make an appearance with her.
Entertainment
Serveur Amusant is a group of French acrobats that enthrall guests with their amazing acts of coordination and balance. This 20 minute show usually takes place in from of Les Chefs de France.
Dining
Les Chefs de France is a fan favorite restaurant that features intricate mosaic flooring, high ceilings, and large windows that overlook the World Showcase Promenade. The menu changes seasonally to best represent the fresh and simple ingredients from France. Classic dishes include the beef tenderloin, onion soup, and roasted duck.
Located upstairs from Les Chefs de France is Monsieur Paul. This gourmet French restaurant has an extensive wine list and puts twists on traditional French dishes. The new menu was created by Chef Nicolas Lemoyne.
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is a one-stop-shop for all things delicious. This French bakery features fresh pastries, baguette sandwiches, soups, salads, wine, champagne, beer, and gourmet coffee.
Shopping
There are many shops located in the France Pavilion that sells anything from perfumes and cosmetics at Plume Et Pallette and La Signature to souvenirs from Disneyland Paris at Souvenirs de France. From the wine connoisseur there is Les Vins de France, where guests can purchase a variety of French wines.
