The United Kingdom Pavilion is designed to look like a classic British village, including English gardens and a hedge maze. The cobble-stoned streets blend in eloquently with the Tudor, Georgian, and Victorian-influenced buildings. No detail is missed in this British hamlet; simply look up to the soot-stained chimneys.
Characters
There are several characters guest can meet in the United Kingdom Pavilion. The practically perfect in every way nanny Mary Poppins meets guests in front of the garden. Occasionally, the friendly chimney sweep Bert will join her.
Alice from Wonderland meets in front of The Tea Caddy shop daily.
The w
illy nilly silly old bear Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too will interact with guests inside The Toy Solider shop.
Entertainment
The British Revolution is a four-piece band that plays British rock music from The Who, Queen, The Rolling Stones, and more.
Dining
The Rose & Crown Dining Room is a family-friendly environment that offers world class cuisine with a waterfront view of the World Showcase Lagoon. Guests can enjoy fish and chips, bangers and mash, vegetable cottage pie, and many more British favorites.
The Rose & Crown Pub is a full service pub that features frosted windows and live entertainment. There is a large selection of British beers, ciders, scotches, and signature cocktails to chose from at this cozy pub.
The Yorkshire County Fish Shop serves up the savory strips of battered fish served alongside hot chips. Bass Ale and Harp Lager are also served to help cleanse the palette.
Shopping
The Toy Solider sells miniature toy solider figures as well as other military figures, shields, and swords. At the Tea Caddy, guests can browse through a great selection of Twinings teas and other tea-inspired items. The Sportsman's Shoppe offers guests an assortment of golf and soccer accessories such as polo shirts, jerseys, and golf balls.
